ROS acquired the ducting division of SCHÜTZ IBERICA S.L., a manufacturer of double-wall, stainless steel ducts for boiler exhaust extraction systems. It was renamed ROS CHIMNEYS, S.L.U. when it was incorporated into the ROS brand.
At the same time, METALÚRGICA ROS, S.A.U. changed its official business name to ROS DUCTING S.L.U.
We started production of laser-welded ducting with diameters of 450-1,200 mm, in addition to the option of pieces with folded seams.
Launch of the hybrid pull-ring with gasket to create leak-proof joints; designed and manufactured entirely by ROS.
ROS began marketing laser-welded ducting with diameters of 80-400 mm, in this case completely replacing the folded seam option.

We became the first Spanish manufacturer dedicated to producing ductwork and accessories in galvanised sheet metal for stoves and chimneys.
The company restarted their production activities at the end of the Spanish Civil War by broadening their customer portfolio and developing new products. Began making items for stoves in polished sheet metal.
The company was first established in the vicinity of the family home in Sant Joan les Fonts.
