Telescopic pipes are manufactured for the inevitable on-site precise terminations which need to be made for straight pipes and as an alternative to the traditional cutting and positioning of the flange.
These are simple cylindrical pipes along their length, with an external “male” diameter with respect to the interior diameter of the pipes, they are smooth at one end, which facilitates the sliding connection of one unit into another until the required length is acquired, with a flange at the other end for attaching the next part of the pipe installation.
We recommend using an overlapping connection of at least 100 mm and fitting the pipes in the direction of the flow in order to minimise leaks and air loss, improving sealing with the use of a clamping ring for sealing-ring with an O-ring-seal.
